Wrinkle free skin after Botox at Vadara Med Spa.

Botox®, Dysport®, Letybo®, and Xeomin®: What’s the Difference?

Vadara Med Spa in Mill Creek, WA offers Botox®, Dysport®, Letybo®, and Xeomin®, all of which are classified as neuromodulators, neurotoxins, or tox. These products contain the same active ingredient, Botulinum Toxin-A, and work by temporarily relaxing facial muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

The primary difference between these products lies in their inactive ingredients.  Despite these differences, they all achieve the same goal of wrinkle relaxation. Your injector will help determine the best option based on your individual needs and desired results.

How Does It Work?

Botox®, Dysport®, Letybo®, and Xeomin® are among the most popular cosmetic injectables worldwide for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. These FDA-approved neurotoxins temporarily relax facial muscles to create a smoother, more youthful appearance.

When injected into targeted muscles, these treatments block the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contractions. By preventing repetitive movements that cause wrinkles, neurotoxins help soften expression lines and prevent new ones from forming.

Results typically appear within a few days and can last three to four months, depending on the product and individual metabolism.

What To Expect At Your Appointment

All appointments begin with a consultation with a certified medical professional to assess your goals and determine the best treatment plan. Treatments with Botox®, Dysport®, Letybo®, and Xeomin® typically take about 30 minutes, making them a quick and convenient option for wrinkle reduction.

Using ultra-fine needles, the neurotoxin is precisely injected into targeted facial muscles that contribute to wrinkle formation. While some patients experience mild discomfort, the procedure is generally well-tolerated and not considered painful.

There is no required downtime, allowing you to return to your daily activities immediately—even fitting in a session during your lunch break. Every appointment includes a complimentary consultation to ensure you receive the most effective treatment for your needs.

When Will it Start to Work?

Neuromodulators like Botox®, Dysport®, Letybo®, and Xeomin® typically begin to take effect within three to five days, with full results visible after two weeks.

In some cases, a small touch-up may be needed after two weeks to refine the results. This is a normal part of the process as your injector assesses how your unique muscle structure responds to treatment.

Do I need a Consultation First?

All Botox®, Dysport®, Letybo®, and Xeomin® appointments include a complimentary consultation to ensure the treatment is tailored to your needs.

If you’re unsure whether neuromodulators are right for you, you can schedule a free consultation to discuss your goals, ask questions, and develop a personalized treatment plan before committing to the procedure.

Expert Dermal Filler Treatments with Top Brands: Juvederm, Restylane, & RHA

At Vadara Med Spa, located in Mill Creek, WA, we offer the highest-quality dermal fillers, including the leading brands: Juvederm, Restylane, and RHA. These trusted, FDA-approved products provide smooth and natural results to help you restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial features.

How Do Dermal Fillers Work?

Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid gel, which is used to instantly restore volume to areas of the face experiencing volume loss. These fillers work by lifting and filling in imperfections, providing natural and immediate results.

Unlike Botox, which relaxes the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles, dermal fillers work by literally "filling in" the unwanted crevices or hollows in your skin, making it look as though they were never there. Whether you're treating fine lines, deep wrinkles, or volume loss in areas like the cheeks or under the eyes, dermal fillers help rejuvenate your appearance quickly and effectively.relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles. Dermal fillers literally fill in the unwanted crevices, making it appear as if those crevices were never there.

How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?

Most dermal fillers provide long-lasting results, typically lasting about one year. However, some products can last up to 1.5 to 2 years, depending on the type of filler and the area treated.

Hyaluronic acid, the key ingredient in dermal fillers, is a substance that your body naturally produces and has an excellent safety profile. Over time, your body gradually breaks down the hyaluronic acid, which is why touch-up treatments may be needed to maintain your results.

Individual results may vary, as factors like metabolism and the treated area can impact how long the effects last. If you are ever unhappy with the results, dermal fillers can be safely dissolved to restore your natural appearance.

At Vadara Med Spa in Mill Creek, WA, our certified injectors will help you choose the right filler and discuss a treatment plan that fits your needs and desired outcomes.

What to Expect at Your Dermal Filler Appointment

At Vadara Med Spa in Mill Creek, WA, every dermal filler appointment begins with a complimentary consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals and create a personalized treatment plan for optimal results.

To ensure your comfort, a topical numbing agent is applied before precisely administering the dermal filler injections with ultra-fine needles. This process helps restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours with minimal discomfort. Most clients describe the treatment as mildly uncomfortable but not painful.

There is no required downtime, allowing you to return to work or daily activities immediately. Some clients may experience mild swelling or bruising, which can be easily covered with makeup if needed.

When Will I See Results?

You will see results immediately after your dermal filler treatment. Some minor swelling is expected as part of the healing process, but this typically resolves within about five days. Applying ice can help reduce swelling and enhance comfort. As the filler settles, you’ll notice even more natural-looking, refined results.

Do I Need a Consultation First?
