What is Sculptra®?
We consider Sculptra® SPANX® for the face! Sculptra® is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment for people who want to look and feel younger with very natural results. Sculptra® works within your body to stimulate collagen production lost to aging. Sculptra® is an injectable that is different from hyaluronic acid fillers. Hyaluronic acid fillers increase volume by filling in an area with a gel-like dermal filler. Sculptra® increases volume and minimizes wrinkles and lines by stimulating the body’s own natural ability to produce collagen. It restores the support and volume of youthful looking skin, providing results that can last up to three years.
We love Sculptra® because it "fixes" the problems associated with aging and collagen loss from the inside-out. Humans lose 1% of the collagen in their face EVERY YEAR starting at age 25! Our bodies do not reproduce this lost collagen. That is why our faces begin to sag, appear "loose," and develop unwanted attributes such as jowls. We must undergo specific treatments to start replacing our lost collagen, because our bodies will not do this naturally.
Sculptra® is one of the most potent collagen stimulators on the market. It has the added benefits of: reducing the appearance of cellulite, tightening the skin, improving skin texture, and creating a skin glow that is noticeable.
What Areas are Treated?
- Full Face Treatment: Our medical professionals will assess your anatomy and patterns of aging & collagen loss. They will strategically place Sculptra® in all areas of the face, paying special attention to areas requiring more collagen production. This treatment lifts, tightens, decreases the appearance of fine lines, and creates an unmatched skin glow.
- Liquid Butt Lift: One of our favorite treatments! Get that booty volume without having surgery. The Liquid Butt Lift adds volume to the buttock, lifts, tightens the skin, reduces the appearance of cellulite, and creates a round shape.
- Neck & Decollete (chest): Sculptra® can be used to tighten the skin in the neck and chest area. This treatment reduces the appearance of crepey skin and the lines that form with aging. It also has a lifting effect.
-Hip Dips: Reduce this pesky indentations that form at the hips. This treatment provides a beautiful, feminine shape to the hip area.
- Sculptra® Can be used anywhere on the body that needs tightening and cellulite treatment. Sculptra® will help reduce the appearance of cellulite with the added bonus of tightening the skin in that area. Examples of popular areas: Thighs, arms, and backs of the legs.
Results
- The results from a Sculptra® treatment are induced by our own body's collagen production. This takes time and results are gradual. Typically, Sculptra® is fully activated at the 3 month mark, and that is when maximum results will be seen.
- Results last up to 2-3 years.
- Clients will see results after 1 treatment, but many require 2-3 treatments to see maximum results.

Downtime
Sculptra® technically does not require downtime. There is a risk of bruising and most clients experience mild swelling for 24-48 hours. If you are sensitive to these effects, please plan on a 48 hour downtime.

Who Is a Candidate?
Anyone over the age of 21 that is experiencing collagen loss is a candidate. Sculptra® is a great treatment for younger clients that would like to prevent the aging process. It is also great for those already undergoing and experiencing collagen loss.
Who Is Not a Candidate?
You would not be considered a candidate if you have any of the following:
- Allergy to any of Sculptra's ingredients
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- History of severe keloid or hypertrophic scarring
