What Is Kybella?
Kybella is a non-surgical injectable treatment for reducing folds on the upper neck, otherwise known as a “double chin.” It permanently destroys fat cells. Say good-bye to invasive liposuction.
How Does It Work?
Kybella is made up of a naturally occurring substance within the body, called deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid dissolves fat cells. When injected into the targeted area, fat cells are broken down and absorbed. Kybella is a holistic and safe way to eradicate that problem area under your chin. This procedure is permanent.
How Much Does It Cost?
Cost depends on the size of the area being treated and the volume of deoxycholic acid used. In general, most clients require 2 vials per treatment and 2-3 treatments to obtain optimal results. Each vial of Kybella costs $650. If more than 1 treatment is recommended, treatments are spaced 6 weeks apart. We will gladly provide you with an estimated cost for your personalized treatment during a complimentary consultation.
Is There Any Down Time?
Clients will experience significant swelling for 1-2 weeks. Bruising is also a possibility. It is possible to return to work immediately but we do not suggest receiving this treatment right before a special event due to swelling. Over the course of a month the swelling will continue to decrease. It is common to feel a very mild discomfort during the healing process which may last 4 weeks.

Am I a Candidate?
If you have decent skin tone without excessive laxity, then you are a great candidate for Kybella. There are very few health conditions that would interfere with this treatment.
Kybella treatments cannot not be received while pregnant or breastfeeding.
