How Does It Work?
Dermal fillers are a hyaluronic acid gel that instantly plump areas in your face that are experiencing volume loss. Fillers lift and fill your imperfections instantly. Different from Botox, which relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles. Dermal fillers literally fill in the unwanted crevices, making it appear as if those crevices were never there.
How Long Does It Last?
Most dermal fillers last about a year. We do have a couple of products that last 1.5 and even 2 years! Hyaluronic acid is a substance that your body naturally produces and has a very good safety profile. Your body slowly breaks down this product over time. Individual results may vary. If you are unhappy with your results, dermal fillers can be dissolved.
What To Expect At Your Appointment
All appointments come with a complimentary consultation. We will discuss your goals and recommend your treatment plan. We use ultra fine needles to deliver this product, instantly lifting deep crevices and other areas of volume loss. We numb your skin with a topical numbing agent to ensure maximal comfort. Many clients state that this procedure is uncomfortable but not painful. There is no downtime to this procedure and you may return to work immediately. Sometimes bruises and swelling can occur , these can be covered up with makeup if desired.
When Will I See Results?
Immediately. You will see results at the end of the procedure. You will experience some minor swelling during the healing process and can apply ice to minimize swelling. Swelling lasts about 5 days.
Do I Need A Consultation First?
All dermal filler appointments come with a complimentary consultation at the same appointment. If you are unsure about dermal fillers, you may make a complimentary consultation to discuss any questions you may have.
What Areas Of The Face Can Be Treated?
Dermal fillers can be placed almost anywhere on your face that is experiencing volume loss or deep crevices. Lip filler is another very popular treatment for those who dream of a volumized pout. The following areas are the most commonly filled:
- Cheeks
- Tear Troughs (under eyes)
- Nasolabial Folds (area around the nose-mouth)
- Marionette Lines
- Jaw Line
- Chin
- Lips
- Temples
How Much Does It Cost?
All fillers are $700 per syringe, with the exception of Voluma which is $850 per syringe. Your injector will determine the amount of syringes needed during your complimentary consultation. Complimentary consultations are included in all service appointments.
Who Is Not a Candidate For Dermal Filler?
You would not be considered a candidate for dermal filler if you have any of the following:
- History of anaphylaxis to multiple allergens
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
Preparing For Your Appointment
- Avoid taking aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents for 7 days prior to appointment
- Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24-48 hours prior to appointment (minimizes bruising)
- Come with a clean face, no makeup (we can remove makeup at the appointment if needed)
After Care
- Avoid exercise for 24 hours after treatment
- Don't lay down for 4 hours after treatment
- Avoid aspirin and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for 3-7 days after appointment
- Avoid alcohol for 24-72 hours
- Do not apply excessive pressure on injection sites (makeup and skin care products are okay to apply after appointment)
- Try to avoid sleeping on injected sites for 1 week
